So I got my first place. About four or five blocks from the beach, reeeal close to campus. Looks pretty damn good. Going up this weekend to start moving in and to make some improvements here and there. I'm very, very lucky to have such a great family to support me with this great feat--every step of the way. I can't wait for that time in my life when I can finally give back to them. I can only hope that giving back to them will provide them with even the slightest glimpse of how much love and respect I have for them in my heart.

Its happening, and its happening fast. The day that I step into that fourth-grade classroom and greet my students with a big, cheesy smile is coming upon us.
